Manchester United Make FOUR New Appointments In Revamp Of Club's Academy
Manchester United will make four new appointments to their academy next month as the overhaul of the department gathers pace.
David Harrison and Lyndon Tomlinson, who both previously worked as scouts at Manchester City, will join with Harrison taking the role of head of academy recruitment and Tomlinson acting as his assistant.
Ronnie Cusick, who has also worked for City, is set to be appointed as an academy scout while Brighton’s academy player recruitment manager will also move to Old Trafford, report the Manchester Evening News.

Video will play in Former United midfielder Nicky Butt has been installed as academy chief, although he has doubled up as Under-23s manager since November following Warren Joyce’s decision to join Wigan.
Marcel Bout, who arrived as part of Louis van Gaal’s backroom staff, has been retained as the club’s head of global scouting – leading a team of more than 100 scouts operating in every corner of the globe.
The latest recruit is KRC Genk chief scout Roland Janssen, who is credited with involvement in the discovery of City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
United’s academy recruitment drive has already seen them land Dutch winger Tahith Chong and American defender Matthew Olosunde.
Chong has already impressed as part of Under-18s, led by coach Kieran McKenna, who joined from Tottenham in September.
United are still searching for a long-term replacement for Joyce. Paul Scholes, Phil Neville and Chelsea youth boss Adi Viveash have all been mentioned as possible candidates.
