Leicester Sign Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi From Genk In £15million Deal
Leicester have signed midfielder Wilfred Ndidi from Genk in a £15million deal.
The Nigerian international moves to the King Power on a five-and-a-half-year contract and is seen as a replacement for N'Golo Kante.
He will wear squad number 25 for the Foxes, who say they beat off 'considerable competition' to land the 20-year-old.
Ndidi helped Genk to progress to the last 32 of the Europa League as Group F winners and moves to the Premier League after two years in Belgium.
He won his first senior call-up for Nigeria in October 2015 having previously represented his country at Under-17 and Under-20 level.
Ndidi has played alongside new Leicester teammate Ahmed Musa for Nigeria twice already this season, including an appearance against Algeria and Riyad Mahrez.
Will Wilfred Ndidi be a success at Leicester?
